Game 1 Recap vs Bats

FABA Storm fell 17-12 to the Bats in six innings on Saturday at Smith despite racking up nine hits and 12 runs.

Caden Schaffer racked up four RBIs on three hits for FABA Storm. He singled in the first and third innings and tripled in the fourth inning. 

The Bats jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in the top of the first. The Bats' threat began with a single by Rodgers. Templim doubled, scoring Redding and Rodgers. The Bats pushed more runs across when scored on a single by Williams, Williams scored on a wild pitch, and Westenhoefer scored when Gehand was hit by a pitch. 

Two FABA Storm baserunners came all the way around to score in each of the first, second and third. In the first, FABA Storm scored on an RBI single by Caden, scoring Jack Riffle

FABA Storm scored on a passed ball and an RBI double by Liam Hilburt

The Bats didn't relinquish the lead after scoring six runs in the sixth inning when they scored on a three-run double by Yourkawitch and two singles.
