Offenses dominate as FABA Storm outscores Kutztown 14-9

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Tuesday as FABA Storm outscored Kutztown 14-9 in six innings.
Hitters on both sides were strong at the plate as the teams combined for 14 hits, including five extra base hits.
Caden Schaffer racked up six RBIs on three hits for FABA Storm. He homered in the second inning and doubled in the first and third innings.
Four relief pitchers didn't loosen their grasp on the win as they finished off the game for FABA Storm. Evan Blickley faced five batters in relief, while Liam Hilburt managed to record three outs to aid the victory.
FABA Storm stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring five runs on a two-run double by Caden and two singles.
Kutztown scored one run in the first inning, and then followed it up with one more in the fourth. In the first, Kutztown scored on an RBI single by Bryce, bringing home Tyler A.
After pushing across two runs in the bottom of the second, Kutztown faced just a 7-3 deficit. A bases loaded walk and a walk by Josh set off Kutztown rally. FABA Storm stopped the rally after Jack Riffle got Tyler A to.
FABA Storm built upon its lead with five runs in the third. A bases loaded walk scored Evan to start the scoring in the inning.
After pushing across five runs in the bottom of the third, Kutztown faced just a 12-8 deficit. A hit by pitch, an error, a walk by L Geist, a walk by Johnathen M, and a hit by pitch gave Kutztown life. Hayden S was hit by a pitch to end the Kutztown threat.
FABA Storm got one-run rallies in the fifth inning and the sixth. In the fifth, FABA Storm scored on an error, scoring Ian Miller.
